STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) subjects may be intimidating at first. Each lesson is tailored to the specific interests, needs, goals, strengths and learning style of the student(s). Our whole student-based approach is focused on responding to student strengths and struggles.

Our licensed teachers have Masters degrees in Education and years of experience in the classroom (Algebra, Geometry, Earth Sciences, Biology, Chemistry). Their teaching strategies can make even the hardest concepts digestible for all students. Whether the student’s goal is curiosity based, requirement based, or test based our teachers are ready to support them step by step.

We create quality lessons that are designed to progress with the student. No lesson will be the same. Lessons will reinforce past information while introducing new. We practice with a growth mindset allowing exploration to drive learning. Our teachers have experience working with students with special needs and English language learners.

Certified Teachers with Experience

Whole Student Academics was born from an online teacher collaboration tool, which debuted in 2017, originally called The Whole Student Project. We are STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) teachers inspired to instruct in new and creative ways by blending the traditional with the exploratory.

Research states that the curious minds at play, will be more likely to retain information and utilize it for problem solving.

What makes us different from other tutors is we are bona-fide teachers with dual Masters degrees. With our experience and research based methods we create instruction and supplementary activities tailored to the whole student - incorporating their strengths, challenges, interests and goals. With this approach our teachers are able to meaningfully teach even the most challenging concepts.
